“ Imo, the best place to eat in the alley. The chicken wings are unbeatable and the ribs are phenomenal. They have a pretty good cocktail selection for a sports bar and Brandee was a really sweet server. ”
“ Been several times and they never disappoint. Love the chicken fingers and onion rings and the nachos but they also have burgers and entrees. Full bar with a pretty good draft beer selection as well. Lots of TVs and the Staff is always friendly. ”
“ Pretty incredible food and amazing bang for the buck. House tequila is currently Luna. I highly recommend the shrimp taco and mushroom swiss burger (has rosemary). Incredible chicken finger platter and gyro as well. All the food is good and I think most of the places around here are horrible. Like southbound across from them...gross. ”
“ Service is wonderful, ONLY if you get Katie, Devon or Brooke. The rest is a crap shoot. Ok if you are cool with waiting at least 10 minutes on a drink at a bar that isn't even crowded while some staff are on their phone or on a smoke break or just plain not paying attention. Food is traditional bar food. You leave smelling like the grease in the kitchen due to no ventilation. Bar stools and tables falling apart. Bathrooms are nasty (and fresh paint doesn't cover everything). Update.... majority of the "good staff" are either gone or only work one day per week. Owner never there. Much better places to go in Aiken. Pretty much anywhere. ”
“ Had a great time at the tailgate tavern for dinner. Tried their loaded lamb fries, firecracker shrimp, and mac and cheese bites for appetizers. All were great, but the star of the show was the loaded fries. It was a combination of gyro fixings, and cheese fries and it was absolutely delicious; lots of different flavors, and textures all at once. For my main entree I got their signature tailgate sandwich with onion rings. Very delicious sandwich, and it tastes even better with the au jus. Onion rings were good too; nice and crisp and the batter wasn’t too overbearing. Our server was excellent too. I forgot her name but she had pink colored hair and tattoos. Very attentive, friendly, and brought a warm vibe to the establishment. Definitely come and visit when you’re in downtown Aiken. ”
“ We loved the food here. The service was excellent. The steak bites are the appetizer but add mashed potatoes and you got a meal. The meatloaf was so tender and not just covered with the basic ketchup. My sides were lima beans and mashed potatoes. They were great! I highly recommend this place. If you are looking for some great down home cooking and sports. Check it out. It's not a typical sports bar. Sit inside or outside. ”
“ Tailgate Tavern offers walls of TVs, plenty of seating, and multiple bars. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and efficient. The food tasted great. I recommend the fried Gouda Mac and cheese bites! It’s a great place to hang out and watch any sporting event. ”
“ An absolutely wonderful meal. Khamron was the best server never missing a beat. The coconut strawberry Margherita was delicious. Caesar salad was very good. Chicken tenders were meaty and had good flavor. The highlight was the firecracker shrimp Tacos. Best shrimp Tacos I've ever had. They had open mic going on too and it was very nice. Overall a great meal. ”
